Getting Started With Geru Agency

Thank you for joining Geru Agency! This short document will help you quickly get up to speed using your Geru Agency account. In this article, we will go over the following: 



Step 1: Login to your Geru Agency Account

  1. Login into your Geru account here
  2. Enter your email address and password. 
    • If you forgot your password or don't have one yet, you can reset your password here. A password reset link will be sent to your email. Be sure to check your spam folder if you don't see the email. 



Step 2: Add Your Custom Domain

  1. Log in to your Domain Registrar and go to the DNS settings
  2. Add an A record pointing your subdomain to 54.200.177.113
    • The subdomain can be any text you wish, it does not need to say subdomain 
    • Ex. subdomain.yourcompany.com, hello.yourcompany.com, funnel.yourcompany.com
  3. For the TTL. use the shortest time.

      • When adding your subdomain into step 4, just add your subdomain and not your full URL.
        • Ex. simulator.yourcompany.com ---> simulator
  4. In your Geru dashboard, click the Profile icon in the upper right and select Domain.

  5. Add your domain details and click verify
    • Your subdomain must then be verified. This process can take 24 hours (possibly longer if you add your subdomain over a weekend).
  6. You can check the status of your subdomain at any time within GERU Agency by viewing the SSL Certificate request status. You’ll know when your subdomain is live when pending status shows a completestatus.

  7. Once your GERU Agency subdomain is live, enter your subdomain URL into your browser and you should also see a Private Branded login screen that looks something like this. Your team and clients can now log into Geru using your subdomain URL.

Step 3: Add A Profile Image, Logo, And Favicon

  1. On your dashboard, click on your profile icon at the top right corner. 
  2. Next, click on profile
    • Screenshot
  3. Click on the pencil icon, beside the logo, profile, and/or faviconto select an image from your computer.
    • The favicon should be a .ico image file with 16x16 or 32x32 dimension
  4. Select image from your computer and click save



Step 4: Add Color Branding

  1. In the profile, scroll down to the Color Branding section and click on the green color. 
  2. You can change the color using HEX or RGBvalues. Or, move the color slider/pointer to find the perfect color.

  3. Scroll to the bottom and click save.
